A Message To PM Narendra Modi From Engineers

An ‘Open Letter To Prime Minister Narendra Modi By Engineers’ posted by a Facebook user Rakesh Roushan is going viral. At the time of publishing this story, the post had more than 11,000 shares. It doesn’t appear that Roushan himself has written the letter given the traces on the web go back to September 2014, but the letter is nevertheless worth sharing and worth a read as it shows the difficulties faced by a common engineering student across the country.

Following is the letter, published with minor grammatical and punctuation corrections.

"Sir we have done 22 years of hard work commitments and with hope. Our parents have invested lakhs of rupees for our education but sir what is the use of it? Even after hard work for such a long time we are unemployed. My college didn't even call up for a single company in campus drive.

My seniors asked me to create account in
naukri but no use. I only get updates for b.p.o and tech supports. Sir s.s.l.c is more than enough to work in a b.p.o Seniors then asked me to go in search of a job myself.I did but companies today don't need fresher's they only need experience candidate.
Companies are hiring fresher's only if they have good reference.. But I don't have reference or influence :-I ' failed '

Then some people asked me to approach some industries and to hand over my resumes to hand it over to watch man's. I even did that but watch man answers me that our company has vacancies only for ITI and Diplomas, we don't need engineers. I failed.

Then some people suggested me to join some consultancy. I even did that. Consultancy showed me a ray of hope. They arranged me for an interview. I went there first question asked by H.R. was :-
"What will you do from morning till evening?"
I answered that I SEARCH jobs.
He laughed at me and suggested to join some courses. Okay!! I even did that by investing some more money to complete my dreams.

Then consultancy arranged me for one more interview, I went there it was a small scale industry. I got selected in 3 rounds of interview.
H.R offered me 8000 to 10000 rupees per month with a two years bond in a metropolitan city where I at least need 10000 rupees to fulfill my basic needs has a bachelor.

Respected sir would you accept this type of a job?
I guess NO.

My friend who has secured very less marks than me us working in a M.N.C will a package of 25000 because he had influence..

Sir we have invested lakhs and have done hard work not to earn 8000.

We avoid attending family programmes not because we have EGO but its because we don't have job.. First question asked by relatives is "What are you doing now?"

Sir I feel ashamed to answer this question.
Whenever I call my parents the first question
they asked me is "Did you get a Job? ". I again feel ashamed.
I have to ask money from my dad atleast for food and shelter.
This is the most worst moment, I feel ashamed..

One small request sir if India don't have potential to give employment stop giving license to new colleges.
50 new Engineering college are been permitted every year in my state.
Is that important? Around 2 lakh students are joining for engineering every year only in my state.
Why is that sir?. I have lost all my faith because I have gone through very bad times and failures.

But I AM PROUD TO BE A ENGINEER".

This is not only my story , but every engineer who don't have money and influence.

WE BADLY NEED YOUR HELP. YOU ARE OUR ONLY HOPE SIR ‪#‎NARENDRAMODI‬

Share it with everyone and One Day it will reach to our Pm.

Guys, Now what do you think ?

15 unspoken rules of courtesy that everyone should adhere to

Times are changing. A lot of the rules in our society, that were once very rigid, are now something that we hardly pay heed to. But while some rules and regulations, on what might be considered as good behavior, are obsolete now; there still exists a bunch of unspoken ones that one needs to adhere to.
These are rules that have a lot to do with commitment, gratitude, privacy and general courtesy.

Papaya Leaves for Dengue Fever

The juice of the humble papaya leaf has been seen to arrest the destruction of platelets that has been the cause for so many deaths this dengue season. Ayurveda researchers have found that enzymes in the papaya leaf can fight a host of viral infections, not just dengue, and can
help regenerate platelets and white
blood cells.

Scores of patients have benefited from the papaya leaf juice, say doctors.

Papaya has always been known to be good for the digestive system. Due to its rich vitamin and mineral content, it is a health freak's favourite. But its dengue -fighting properties have only recently been discovered.

Chymopapin and papin - enzymes in the papaya leaf - help revive platelet count, say experts. ...

===========================
how to prepare the juice:

Take leaves of a papaya tree. Wash properly, grind, and squeeze the juice into a bowl or a glass. Drink a glass or two every day for at least 4 days (minimum) apart from other fruit juices. Remember, it’s not the fruit, but the leaves of papaya. (FYI it tastes Bitter!)"

======================

Several friends have written in to tell us and our other readers that papaya leaf juice is often given to dengue sufferers in their countries. We want to thank each of you for taking your time to share that with us. We’re compiling those comments here.

Sanjeev from Rampur U.P, India, was one of the first readers to suggest papaya leaf juice for dengue. “The tested medicine for dengue is papaya leaf juice, 2 teaspoons twice a day, with gloyey (ayurvedic medicine.)"

Ashok Somani from Bagalkot Karnatak, India, also suggests using papaya leaf to help dengue sufferers, and explains how to make it. Ashok writes: “When the dengue is serious and the blood platelet count is decreasing, take a leaf of a papaya tree and grind with water. Take this juice on an empty stomach.”

It’s interesting to note that papaya leaf juice seems to be a common natural help for dengue patients in at least several Eastern countries. Janaka from Sri Lanka also wrote mentioning papaya leaf juice for dengue. Here’s Janaka’s comment:

“Apart from many natural herbs which will increase one’s immunity, the juice of papaya leaves significantly increases the platelet levels, even with a few teaspoons. In my country it is standard medical practice even in hospitals, since they claim they have no treatment for this disease!”

7 Dangerous Acts After a Meal

It is prudent to understand some of the basic good advice out there and these revelations may be pretty surprising.

1. Don’t smoke —- Experiments from experts proves that smoking a cigarette after meal is comparable to smoking 10 cigarettes (chances of cancer is higher)
2. Don’t eat fruits immediately — Immediately eating
fruits after meals will cause stomach to be bloated with air. Thre fore take fruits 1 -2 hours after meal or 1 hour before meal.
3. Don’t drink tea—— Because tea leaves contain a high content of acid. This substance will cause the protein content in the food we consume to be hundred thus difficult to digest.
4. Don’t loosen your belt———- Loosening the belt after meal will easily cause the intestine to be twisted and blocked.
5. Don’t bathe———- ——- Bathing after meal will cause the increase of blood flow to the hands, legs and body thus the amount of blood around the stomach will therefore decrease, this will weaken the digestive system in our stomach.
6. Don’t walk about———- — People always say that after a meal walk a hundred steps and you will live till 99. In actual fact this is not true. Walking will cause the digestive system to be unable to absorb the nutrition from the food we intake.
7. Don’t sleep immediately—- ——– The food we intake will not be to digest properly. Thus will lead to gastric and infection in our intestine

Some Information is Worth Sharing. so, share this information with your loved ones..

HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE

Let's say it's 6.15pm and you're going home (alone of course),
...after an unusually hard day on the job. You're really tired, upset and frustrated. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw. You are only about five miles (8kms) from the hospital nearest your home. Unfortunately you
don't know if you'll be able to make it that far. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself..!!
NOW HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN ALONE..
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack, without help, the person whose heart is beating improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously.A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.
A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood circulating.
The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it regain normal rhythm. In this way, heart attack victims can get to a hospital.
Rather than sharing jokes please.. contribute by Sharing this which can save a person's life!

Maggi Banned in India

Maggi has been India’s favourite instant-food for quite a while now. Tired of cooking lunch and dinner? Make maggi. Hungry in the middle of the day? Make maggi. But this overly-consumed food was found to contain added monosodium glutamate (MSG) and lead in excess of the permissible limit.
MSG is also known as The Silent Killer.
The Lucknow Food Safety and Drug Administration has initiated inquiry and written to the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) in New Delhi cancelled the licence for Maggi. Officials also said that the state regulator has asked FSSAI to order sampling of the product from across India to check its quality.

“We have tested Maggi samples at Kolkata’s referral laboratory. The test results show that there are added monosodium glutamate and excess of lead. We have ordered further sampling,” FSDA Assistant Commissioner Vijay Bahadur Yadav told TOI.
However, Nestle, which is the manufacturer of Maggi, maintains that it does not add monosodium glutamate to the product, and that the presence of excess lead is “surprising” for the company.

This is what Nestle had to say about the matter:
“We do not add MSG to MAGGI Noodles and glutamate, if present, may come from naturally occurring sources. Food regulators in India also do not specify any limit for the presence of MSG / Glutamate,” a Nestle spokesperson said.
“We are surprised with the lead content supposedly found in the sample. We monitor the lead content regularly as part of regulatory requirements, and tests at our own accredited laboratories as well as those by independent external accredited laboratories have consistently shown the results to be well within the permissible limit.”

The test results : Maggi contains 17 parts per million lead?!
Permissible limit : 0.01 parts per million (notice the difference?)
Nestle says its records show lead content is negligible and less than 1 % of the fixed limit.
Why is Monosodium glutamate added to food?
It is a kind of amino acid which occurs naturally in many agricultural products, and is often also added artificially to packaged food to enhance flavour.

Regulators and experts say such additives can be harmful for health, mainly for children. It is mandatory for companies to specify on the packaging if MSG has been added.
“Enforcement of the Act lies with state government and they must keep a stringent check. Once we receive communication from the state, we will certainly examine and take immediate cognizance,” a senior FSSAI official said.
Nestle maintains that Maggi noodles “conform to all applicable food laws and regulations”. They also said that so far they have not been informed about any cancellation of licence or ban on the product.

India leads World Hunger list

According to a recent report by the Food & Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, there are over 800 million undernourished people in the world, and 98% of them live in developing countries.
India has the dubious distinction of being the world’s hunger capital. India is home to 194.6 million of the world’s hungry people (roughly a quarter of them). 15.2% of Indians go hungry every day. And though the number has fallen in recent years, India still has more hungry people than any other nation in the world.
However, significant strides have been made to combat undernourishment. The prevalence of underweight children in India declined from 49.2% in 1990 to 30% in 2013. According to the statistics, India recorded a decline of 36% of undernourished people in its population from 1990-1992 to 2014-2016. China, in the same period, recorded a 60.9% reduction. The government expects a 7.4% growth rate for India this year, outpacing even China. If India wants growth to continue, then it should be inclusive – because for 200 million Indians economic development doesn’t mean anything when they are unable to eat a proper meal.
The UN report discovered that 1 in 9 people in the world are starving. The Asia-Pacific region is home to more than 60% of the world’s hungry. However, in spite of these troubling numbers, global trends are positive. There has been a net decrease in undernourished people worldwide - from 18.6% in 1990-1992 to 10.9% in 2014-2016. Hopefully, these numbers will continue to decrease in the coming decade.
India’s war against hunger began a long time ago. It was largely disastrous for India until the Green Revolution turned the tide. Under the scientific leadership of MS Swaminathan, India began to become self-sustainable. For example, wheat production increased from 10 million tonnes in 1964 to 97 million tonnes today. Investment in agriculture research and a healthy public-private partnership made the Green Revolution such a success. To completely close the gap between food requirement and food production - to feed every Indian - the Green Revolution needs to be revamped, newer policies need to be formulated (and properly executed), research in agriculture should be funded, and the land and rights of small farmers should be protected.
